I see you have a Demo Download available on the page for the software on your site. How do I get the full version?

All of Birdsoft's software is shareware. So the demo versions available for download on this site are all the most current versions of the software, and the full version. Once you pay for the software you are given a password which unlocks the full version of the program you have installed. Simply enter your name and password into the About box of that application and you are ready to go.

And once you have paid for the software, you can download updated versions of the software here for FREE(Major Upgrades to certain products do not apply). Download these same demo files, and install them over the existing software on your Pocket PC. Simply check your Application's about box for a version number and check that number with the current version listed here or at one of our resellers, if it is newer then download and install it..

I run the install and it brings up the Active Sync Dialog for Add/Remove Programs, but does not start installing your application. What is going wrong?

The Program is shipped in a Zip file. Some Zip programs do not automatically Extract all Files from the Zip file, when you try to run Setup.Exe from within the file. You should try unzipping ALL the files into a temporary directory, so the setup.exe can see the cab and setup files, in order to complete the install.

I have ideas for new features or have seen a bug in the program, what should I do?

I am trying to uninstall SysWatch or BatteryWatch, but the "Remove Programs" won't work?

You must click on the tray icon for that application and choose close from the menu in order to turn the programs off, and then use the normal uninstall method to remove it. If you are still having trouble, close the program, rename the dll file that the uninstaller is having trouble with, then delete that same file, and try uninstalling again.

My iPaq is having troubles with the CF sleeve not initializing with SysWatch installed?

Uninstall it and install the iPaq only version of the software that is located on this site. See above, if have you problems uninstalling.

I have a non iPaq ARM based Pocket PC, and during install it is saying it is missing a component?

I can no Longer see the Players Names or Betting or Trick Information?

It is possible to change the background color to a color which makes the Betting, trick, or player name information completely hidden. Try re-adjusting the table color to a color that allows you to see again. PokerHand 1.5 and TrickHand 1.1 Users also have the option of changing the text colors.

How can I use Pocket PC 2002 Themes for my background?

One way you can accomplish this is to extract the bitmap from the .tsk file. A .tsk(theme) file is basically a CAB file with a couple of bitmaps and another info file in it. If you have a program such as Winzip that can open CAB files, rename the file from xxxx.tsk to xxxx.cab and then open the file using this program. Extract the biggest sized file(this is probably the largest graphic for the theme, named tdywater.001 ??) and rename it with a .bmp extension. Open it in Paint to verify that it is the right picture, and if not try another file. If you are successful copy this file to your Pocket Pc, and link to it from the Table Setup of your card game.
